Karlie Kloss buys fashion magazine iD from Vice Media Group

Karlie Kloss is making a big new purchase.

The 31-year-old model and entrepreneur acquired a fashion publication. Identification magazine of Vice Media Group amid the group’s post-bankruptcy restructuring, via Variety.

The finanacial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Karlie will lead the British brand as CEO, with IDSenior editor Alastair McKimm will expand his role as global creative director and editor-in-chief.

The sale was made through Karlie’s newly formed company, Bedford Media, where she serves as president.

She “has a deep passion for technology and the intersection of fashion, media and culture and how we can create interconnectivity between the digital and physical worlds,” a representative said in a statement.
