Biography/Wiki
Kalpana is born on 22 January 2001 at the Sheohar District in Bihar. She is a 17 years old student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sheohar (Bihar). She had a dream to build a career in the medical field, so, she started to prepare for the Medical Entrance Examination (NEET) in 2016, after her class 10 examination. She studied the NCERT books along with coaching material carefully and also appeared for numerous mock tests. Finally, her hard work fructified, and she cracked the test with 99.99% marks.
After this success, she has a desire to take admission and study at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in New Delhi. For this, she has already appeared for the AIIMS entrance exams, the results of which will likely to be declared on June 18, 2018. Her second priority for admission is ‘Maulana Azad Medical College’ in Delhi.
She wants to do MBBS and MD. After completing her study, her aim is to help the poor and needy people by treating them free of cost.
Family & Caste
Kalpana belongs to a Brahmin family at a Sheohar district in Bihar. Her father Rakesh Mishra is a lecturer in the ‘District Institute of Educational Training’ in Sitamarhi, and mother Mamta Kumari is also a reputed teacher in the ‘Government Girls’ Middle School’ in Sheohar. She has an elder sister Bharti (engineer) and one elder brother Pranay Pratap who is a B.Tech student at IIT, Guwahati. Her parents and relatives gave a lot of moral support to Kalpana for her study and are now feeling proud after her success.
Career
During her 10th standard, Kalpana decided to prepare for The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and then for regular classes; joined the ‘Akash Institute’ in New Delhi (India). In 2018, she appeared in the Medical Entrance Examination and emerged topper nationwide with 99.99% marks.
Kalpana also obtained good marks in her 12th exams. She secured 171 marks in Physics (out of 180), 160 marks in Chemistry (out of 180), and a perfect 360 marks in Biology (out of 360).
