Danny Ferry was born on the 17th of October 1966, in Hyattsville, Maryland, the United States of America. According to his date of birth, he is 56 years old and holds American nationality. After the season, Ferry became a free agent and signed with the Portland Trail Blazers, but he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks before the start of the 2001-2002 season and was subsequently waived by the team. Management career

After leaving the Cavaliers, he spent a year as a consultant for the Spurs before being named the General Manager of the Atlanta Hawks in 2012.
