On May 2, 2022, he committed suicide and his body was found in Birch Bay State Park, Washington. Kailea’s mother took to Facebook to share the news of his demise. she wrote,
I have neither words nor thoughts. A beautiful girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn Kaelia’s passing. My baby forever.”
