Velmurugan was born on Wednesday, 5 March 1980 (age 40 years; as in 2020) in Viruthachalam, Tamil Nadu. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He did his schooling from a government school. Boys HR. Sec. School, Mudhanai (up to 10th class), and he did his 11th and 12th class from a government school. Boys HR. Sec. School, Virudachalam.
