Justin Timberlake’s floating stage goes viral
“Justin Timberlake kicked off his new tour this week, and his stage is already the talk of the town… because it defies the laws of physics that Newton worked so hard to confirm!” TMZ wrote.
“JT debuted a stunning stage design on Monday for the first show of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which officially kicked off with the inaugural stop in Vancouver, BC… wowing the crowd at Rogers Arena with a massive floating stage for his performance of “Mirrors.” “
TMZ also notes that the idea was originally curated by Kanye West.
“Of course, the only artist that came to mind for this floating stage was none other than Kanye West, who implemented a similar design years ago while on tour,” they added.
Joey Fatone details life after *NSYNC
Justin started out as the lead singer of the group *NSYNC. They were one of the most popular boy bands of the early 2000s. Although they never won a Grammy Award, they earned eight nominations. The group went their separate ways after concluding their Celebrity tour in 2002. Band member Joey Fatone says he’s grateful he didn’t have to “reinvent himself” after the split.
“Good thanks God [the breakup] did not force me to [reinvent myself]. She wanted. It wasn’t like, ‘Oh, fuck, I’m out of a job.’ That I have to do? It was pretty much, ‘Holy shit, these doors are open.’ Let’s see if I can get in. It might suck, but let’s figure it out,” Fatone said.
“I always wanted to do Broadway. Right after *NSYNC, I did Rent on Broadway. I did Little Shop of Horrors on Broadway. And then when I did Dancing With the Stars, people saw my personality,” she said, referencing her participation in the ABC dance competition series in 2007.
“People were like, ‘Oh, he’s not just an *NSYNC guy. Actually, he is a person who really acts.’ “It was interesting the path I had to take, but it was incredible.”
