Justin and Hailey Bieber turned the opening night of Coachella into a date night, getting cozy while Lana Del Ray serenaded the crowd.
The couple, who have faced months of divorce speculation, were captured on film looking more in love than ever, snuggling together. The former teen idol was also seen caressing the model’s head and then tenderly kissing her forehead.
Many X believers seemed to feel that the pictures all but destroyed the couple’s divorce rumors. “There is no point in inventing that divorce exists, they love each other,” said a fan wrote. A second fan added: “They are literally my favorite couple in the world.”
Meanwhile, another fan waxed poetic, writing: “What a soft and sweet moment. The cruelty of the world keeps trying to steal their peace and joy, they just stay focused on each other. You have to admire it. Really.”
Other fans of Hailey and Justin Bieber thought the Coachella images would upset some people. “Haters are furious right now,” one X user joked. “D TikTok conspiracy theorists are crazy,” another fan chimed in.
The couple, married in 2018, has been addressing rumors about their relationship for some time. In February, Stephen Baldwin, Hailey’s father, posted a video from Victor Marx of All Things Possible Ministries, encouraging fans to pray for them.
“Christians, please, when you think of Justin and Hailey, take a moment to offer a small prayer that they may have wisdom, protection, and draw closer to the Lord,” the text read over the footage of Justin performing.
Hailey and Justin were also photographed in not-so-happy photos heading to a Beverly Hills church, fueling the gossip.
In March, Hailey rejected accounts spreading speculative rumors about her marriage. She shared on her Instagram Story at the time: “For her information, the stories and constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100% incorrect.”
“Made from nothing… comes from the land of deception. So I know it can be fun to feed these stories. I just know they are always fake, sorry to spoil it,” she added.
Hailey also appeared to counter rumors of trouble in her marriage to Justin by posting a heartfelt tribute to her husband on his 30th birthday.
“Words could never truly describe the beauty of who you are,” she wrote alongside images of her husband kissing her on March 1. “Happy birthday to you… love of my life, for life.”
