Jonathan Van Ness has faced accusations of having “anger issues,” causing a split within Queer Eye Fab Five.
Rolling Stone interviewed seven production sources, who revealed in a report released Tuesday that the stylist was reportedly defiant on set.
The magazine’s informants portrayed Van Ness, who is non-binary, using shocking terms such as “nightmare,” “monster” and “degrading,” alleging that he mistreated crew members and those in his immediate work circle.
According to one source, Van Ness would “explode at least once a week.” A source said Rolling Stone that Van Ness “was noted for his lack of professionalism, and his various moods dictated how the day would go.”
Van Ness’s alleged actions allegedly caused several members of the group to be hesitant about filming with them. According to the report, Netflix held a meeting with Van Ness, but sources indicated that he made “small changes.”
