How will Marvel Studios move forward after parting ways with the majors?

It’s unclear what Marvel Studios plans to do after abandoning the Major. Kang has appeared in two MCU projects (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania and Loki) and will become the villain of 2026 Avengers: Kang Dynasty. The easiest option seems to be to recast Kang and continue as planned, but given his relationship with Jonathan Majors, the studio may want to distance itself from the character.

However, it’s also possible that the MCU will shift its focus away from Kang and toward a new big bad for the rest of the multiverse saga. Report says Marvel Studios has given up on “Kang Dynasty“From internal communications avengers 5, although the title has not yet been officially changed. It was previously rumored that Marvel Studios executives were considering ruling out Kang after he failed to impress. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania, Majors’ conviction may encourage a return to these discussions.Only with Deadpool 3 The MCU is set to release in 2024, giving the studio some time to consider its options.
