Jo Yu-ri is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a former member of the South Korean–Japanese girl group Iz*One. In 2023, she was announced to appear in the second season of the popular Netflix South Korean survival drama series ‘Squid Game.’

Pre-debut
Yuri participated in the reality TV show ‘Idol School’ on 17 July 2017; however, she was eliminated in episode 10 and ranked 15th in the show due to which she couldn’t debut with the winning group, Fromis_9.
On 11 May 2018, she took part as a contestant in Mnet’s reality show titled ‘Produce 48’ and secured the 3rd position. Being among the twelve successful contestants, she became a member of the newly created girl group called Iz*One.

On 29 October 2018, she debuted as a singer along with eleven other members and released an extended play titled ‘Color*Iz.’
In 2020, the group released their first and only Korean studio album titled ‘Bloom*Iz.’ In the same year, the group released their first and only Japanese studio album titled ‘Twelve.’ On 29 April 2021, the group disbanded after the expiration of their contract.
