Jo Koy is having a rough start to his Golden Globe Awards 2024 accommodation concert.
The 52-year-old comedian found out just over a week in advance that he would be hosting the event, which took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.
He attempted to mock the night’s top stars during his opening monologue, but the jokes were unsuccessful.
While defending himself, he noted that the notice was relatively last minute.

“I got the job 10 days ago!” Jo emphasized the cheering crowd. “Do you want a perfect monologue?”
He joked: “Some other people wrote that. “I wrote some of these and those are the ones you’re laughing at.”
Jo pointed to salty burn in one of his jokes. “salty burnyou know what I loved salty burn?” he said. “Satanic families also have feelings. [Barry Keoghan’s p-nis] “He was the real star of the show… Oh, there he is, on Bradley Cooper’s face.”
He also mentioned oppenheimer: “I just needed another hour… My New Year’s resolution in 2024 is to finish oppenheimer by 2025…I love it oppenheimerespecially the first season.”
Jo recently spoke about hosting the awards show and revealed how she found out she got the job.
