Jimmy, just one of the show’s five late-night hosts, revealed he was dead serious about walking away.
“I really intended to quit right around the time the strike started,” he shared. “And now I realize that yes, it is nice to work.”
After his admission, Seth Meyers told him that he was “the Tom Brady of the night… you have pretended to be retired.”
However, Jimmy insisted that it was a very serious conversation they had.
“He was serious, he was very, very serious.”
