Eliana Ghen is an American actress known for her appearance on the Netflix series. Insatiable and Camila Cabello’s music video for Havana. In 2020, the rising star experienced exponential growth on social media as her acting challenges and lessons gained traction globally. Ghen has nearly 100,000 followers on Instagram, 162,000 subscribers on YouTube, and 3.6 million followers on TikTok.
Ghen recognized that ‘POV’ acting, synonymous with TikTok, had become boring and introduced a new method of acting where people use their voice on the app. Support from her fans encouraged her to create a production company known as Me Pictures, LLC.

Eliana Ghen was born on March 18, 1993 in South Florida. Her parents are doctors and researchers who moved around a lot during Eliana’s childhood. Eliana has lived in Africa, Belize, Mexico and Israel.
At the age of 7, Eliana suffered sexual abuse at the hands of her grandfather. The experience transformed a carefree child into a fearful and anxious child. Ghen began to act as a means to deal with the trauma. She was inspired by Harry Porter and starred in the first stage production of her in Africa. After returning to the United States, she joined the local theater and has been acting ever since. She said VoyageMIA:
“Since then I have been training to be an actor and I have not stopped training since then. I went to the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts to study acting. It was the most amazing experience I had growing up as an actor. Later, I moved to Atlanta and signed with Innovative Artists in Los Angeles and Alexander White Agency in Atlanta.”
Acting provided an escape from the trauma, but Eliana continued to struggle mentally. In a YouTube video posted on September 1, 2020, Eliana revealed that despite her best efforts, she never felt well enough. Even after her abuser passed away, the pain stayed alive. Eliana’s mindset and life changed when she took a course titled the historical forum. She wrote in a blog article titled Story of my life:
“When I did the forum, I realized who was saying all those self-destructive thoughts… me. Once I realized that ‘Eliana’ arose, but not the Eliana that was given to me by name, by circumstance, but by the time that I created… out of nothing. Thereafter, she finally chose for the first time. I choose to take my life into my own hands. I choose that I was amazing, that I was powerful, that I am infinite.
Eliana was in many toxic relationships before she met her husband, Marshal Mintz.
Unfortunately, Ghen never experienced a peaceful relationship. After the death of her grandfather, Eliana lost a partner whom she considered the love of her life.
Every partner she got turned out to be toxic, but her husband, Marshal, was different. The couple got married in February 2018. Eliana told her VoyageMIA that her husband gives her the motivation to keep going:
“My husband always makes me keep pushing no matter how many times I wanted to give up. I think it’s important to surround yourself with people who want you to achieve your goal as much as you do, and then give those people permission to push you and allow them to do whatever it takes so you don’t give up.”
