In March 2016, Jeevan joined the Aam Aadmi Party. In the 2017 assembly elections, she managed the Majitha campaign and was the only woman volunteer from the city to participate in the campaign. Later, she became the co-president of the women’s wing of AAP. He coordinated the campaign during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. She became the spokesperson of AAP Punjab in Amritsar North constituency in 2022. On 10 March 2022, he won the Amritsar East assembly seat in Punjab in the state legislative assembly election 2022. In the elections, he contested against political leaders like Punjab Congress President Navjot. Singh Sidhu, Shiromani Akali Dal’s Bikram Singh Majithia and BJP candidate Jagmohan Singh Raju.
