Lady Gaga owes no money in connection with her dog kidnapping case.

Earlier this year, Jennifer McBride, one of the alleged accomplices in the 2021 incident involving her two dogs and the dog walker, filed a lawsuit against the 37-year-old singer seeking the $500,000 reward offered for the dogs. plus $1.5 million in additional damages.

On Monday (Oct. 2), a Los Angeles judge made a final decision on the reward.

Judge Holly J. Fujie ruled that Gaga does not have to pay the reward after initially ordering in July that Jennifer’s complaint was “legally insufficient in its entirety.”

Jennifer had been given 20 days to modify her filing. She claimed that she “was in no way involved in the theft” and she only “took possession” of the dogs to return them, according to documents obtained by People.

In April 2021, Jennifer and five others were arrested for the crime, which involved the theft of Gaga’s two French bulldogs and the shooting of dog walker Ryan Fischer, who was seriously injured. The dogs were later returned safely.
