Jayati Bhatia was born on Tuesday, 28 July 1970 (age 52 years; as in 2022) in Orissa. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Delhi University. Jayati practiced classical dance for 17 years and has a Diploma Certificate in the Indian classical dance style Odissi. She took professional training in classical dance from Indian classical Odissi dancer Mayadhar Raut, who was awarded the Padma Shri in 2010.
