In 2019, Jatin was a member of the team that represented Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in the North Zone All India Inter-University Kabaddi Championship, in which he played with an average strike rate of 16.6%. In 2022, he represented the Kaziranga Rhinos team as a left raider in the summer edition of the 2022 Youth Kabaddi Series, in which he played six matches and scored a total of 55 points. He also achieved 4 Super Runs and 2 Super 10s in the series. In the YKS League matchup, Lajiranga Rhinos vs Tadoba Tigers, Jatin was named player of the match for his raiding masterpiece, which included 16 touch points and 3 bonus points.
