Jangiri Madhumita was born on Thursday, 21 April 1983 (age 40 years; as in 2023) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
He is a graduate. Her real name is Madhumita. She got the name Jangiri due to her role in her first film- “Oru Kal Oru Kannadi”.

livelihood
Madhumita started her career in 2004 with the comedy TV show- “Lolu Sabha”. He was appreciated on the show and eventually started getting more comedy roles. He got his first film in 2012- “Oru Kal Oru Kannadi”. It was a romantic comedy film and it also starred Hansika Motwani and Udhayanidhi Stalin. The film was a hit and Madhumita’s popularity increased. People started calling him by the name of the character he played in the film i.e. Jangiri.

Controversy
A complaint was filed against Madhumita on 2 September 2017. Her neighbor Usha had lodged a complaint that Madhumita had bitten her on her hand. Madhumita released a video and said that Usha was the society secretary and had misused the maintenance fund, hence she was removed from the post. After being removed, Usha started causing inconvenience to other society residents by switching off water and electricity from time to time. When Madhumita confronts Usha, she starts abusing Madhumita and attacks her. Madhumita said that she had to cut off Usha’s hand; Because she wanted to be free from his attack and she did so in self-defense.
