After Maggie’s death, Julie and Jamie founded the Maggie Dixon Foundation, which hosts heart health fairs in Pittsburgh and Madison Square Garden. There’s also the annual Maggie Dixon Classic, a one-day tournament featuring some of the top women’s teams in the country. The Maggie Dixon Courage Award and the Maggie Dixon Division 1 Rookie Coach of the Year Award are both named after her.
