Jake Johnson doesn’t have much hope that his program Martha Will receive another season.
In a new interview, the 45-year-old actor, who also serves as co-executive producer of the exotic Starz comedy series, explained why he doesn’t think the show will be renewed for a third season.

“But from the evidence that I cut my hair, I don’t [expect a renewal]”Jake said. Deadline.
“I think the change to Starz, I think HBO did its thing, HBO, or HBO Max, whatever it’s called now, I think it was brutal for [the show]”Jake admitted. “So, I think the strike came out well when we were trying to promote it… I guess you can’t hit something that many times and keep going.”
Jake concluded: “I really loved the cast, crew and writers. “It was a great group, but I don’t know.”
As fans wait to learn the fate of MarthaStarz has already canceled six shows this year, renewed five more and announced that two will end in 2024.
