Iza Calzado, a Filipino actress, and her husband Ben Wintle, both 40 years old, are expecting their first child. On Friday, August 12, the actress posted a video of herself smiling and hugging her growing pregnant belly to Instagram. She attached the photo with the following caption:
“They say, life begins at 40. So I’ve got all these big plans for my 40th year on Earth, also my 20th year in the profession. I’ve completed some fascinating tasks that have been assigned to me, and there are more to be done. I’m excited to start this new chapter in my life.”

Calzado also wrote in the description that she didn’t intend to have children right away, but she knew it had to happen and that she accepted everything God intended for her. The actress continued
“I welcome this new chapter of my life with a grateful heart, putting aside all worries and sorrows and trusting only in life’s sacred timing and wisdom.”
Calzado spoke about her baby, adding that she knew it would push her to new heights in ways she couldn’t fathom. She concluded by calling the baby a great miracle and guiding light that gave her meaning, purpose and direction in life. She added two more photos on Instagram, one of which features her husband, Ben Wintle. They have been together since 2017.
