Issey Miyake A Japanese Fashion Designer Passed Away At The Age Of 84

Issey Miyake, the famous Japanese designer, passed away at the age of 84. On August 5, 2022, the stylist died of hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common type of liver cancer. According to a statement from the Issey Miyake team, the deceased designer was “surrounded by close friends and partners.”

Miyake, born in Hiroshima in 1938, is also known for his globally acclaimed signature black collar design, which he created for his longtime friend and collaborator Steve Jobs.
