Ishita Kishore was born in 1996 (age 27 years; as of 2023) in Begumpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. She is a native of Patna, Bihar; However, he has spent a large part of his life in Delhi, India. He completed his schooling from Air Force Bal Bharti School, Delhi in 2014 with Commerce stream in Mathematics and scored 97.25% marks. He earned his Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, Delhi from 2014 to 2017. He worked as an intern for Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited in 2015 and GAIL (India) Limited in 2016. As a Risk Analyst for Ernst & Young (EY) from June 2017 to March 2019.

She was very good in studies since childhood. After quitting her job in 2019, she started preparing for the UPSC IAS exam and failed in her first two attempts as she could qualify Prelims. In 2023, he secured first rank in the UPSC-IAS exam during his third attempt. He secured the top rank in the prestigious examination by scoring 901 marks in the written examination and 193 marks in the interview, totaling 1094 marks.

She was president of the Rotary-sponsored club Interact and used to make fun of the United Nations during school events. She was a member of the Economic Society and Literary Society during her college days. She also worked as an intern for the NGO CRY (Child Rights and You) in 2015 and taught children at the children’s shelter home of Tihar Jail.
