While awaiting sentencing for his crimes, the world tries to discover the cause of Holmes’s deception.

According to our investigation, the rumor stems from an attempt to compare Elizabeth Holmes to Apple pioneer Steve Jobs. Some claim that Steve Jobs was on the autism spectrum, but again, there is no solid evidence to support this claim.
Holmes was accused of trying to imitate Steve Jobs. By INC AfricaHolmes “did an exceptional job of figuring out what Steve Jobs looked and acted like and strove obsessively to imitate him.”
Dr. Richard Fuisz, a psychiatrist and inventor who has known Elizabeth since childhood, spoke to the publication about Elizabeth’s apparent obsession with Steve Jobs. He said:
“He was wearing Jobs’s black turtleneck, he took a photo with a slimming lens to make his neck look thinner. She mimicked her body language, tugging at the nanocontainer. [where Theranos would store the drop of a patient’s blood it claimed it would test] out of your pocket the same way Jobs did with the iPhone.”
Elizabeth may have tried to imitate Jobs, but she and Jobs were not diagnosed with autism, contrary to what some believe.

Dr. Richard Fuisz grew up seeing the pressure that Holmes’s parents, Christian and Noel, put her under. Holmes’s parents had powerful connections in Washington, which they used to accumulate wealth.
Fuisz, hardly an objective source, said Forbes that Elizabeth’s parents pushed her to emulate him. He believes that it placed an unnecessary burden on Holmes, affecting his emotional development. Dr. Ricardo said Forbes:
“Don’t force her to do something she doesn’t want to do. In the photos I have with our family she is withdrawn. She always throws it to the side and she wasn’t naturally emotional when she was growing up.”
Richard is of the opinion that the need to succeed quickly turned Holmes into a con man. He had no background in medicine or entrepreneurship, but he convinced investors to find his company.
Holmes must have known that his house of cards would collapse, but he continued to deceive investors, hoping to drag out his ruse for as long as possible.
Elizabeth’s obsession with making billions by any means stems from her parents, Dr. Richard opines. He said INC Africa that Holmes’s parents indulged in their daughter’s childhood fantasies rather than exposing her to reality. Dr.Richard said:
“Elizabeth’s mother, Noel, told my ex-wife about Elizabeth’s idea for a bracelet with needles that would test people’s blood in real time, detect disease and deliver medication, all on the same device. These are the thoughts of a child.”
