Is Chevy Chase okay? Actor Suffers Terrifying Stroke, Falls Off Stage During Q&A Event

It sure beats hanging up Christmas lights, but actor Chevy Chase took a bad fall during a Q&A event for Christmas holidays. Fortunately, the iconic actor is doing well.

Chase’s misstep came after a screening of the film National Lampoon at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York. As seen in pictures from the event, the Q&A session got off to a rocky start. Initially, Chevy took the stage in a wheelchair, but quickly stood up to interact with the crowd. However, as he advanced, he inadvertently left the stage, momentarily disappearing from sight.

With the help of his wife, Jayni, and the host of the event, Chevy stood up and returned to his seat on stage. To add a touch of humor to the incident, Chevy’s smartwatch chimed in to express his concern over his fall. Despite this stumble, Chevy continued with the event, sporting an ice pack on his knee but remaining engaged with fans, taking photos and answering questions.

People close to Chevy mentioned that he misjudged the edge of the stage due to the bright stage lights, which made it difficult to discern the boundary. Despite having a bruised knee, Chevy is said to be doing well.

Other chills and spills

On a much more serious note, Squid Game Actor Geoffrey Giuliano, 70, recently suffered a traumatic chainsaw accident that caused him to lose two of his toes.

Witnesses described the aftermath of the scene as a “bloody mess,” with Giuliano collapsing in his own blood. Despite feeling intense pain, Giuliano managed to locate his amputated toes and present them to doctors on a paper towel upon his arrival.
