Tushar Deshpande completed his formal education from RA Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. Tushar Deshpande started his cricket career by playing for Mumbai domestic team Under-16 and Under-19 teams. Tushar made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2016.
