Humaira Himu (1985–2023) was a Bangladeshi actress known for her work in the Bangladeshi television industry. She was found dead at her residence on 2 November 2023.

Humaira Himu was born on Saturday, 23 November 1985 (age 37 at the time of death) in Lakshmipur, Bangladesh. In 1999, she moved to Dhaka after completing her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination.

Humaira Himu made her television debut with the TV series ‘PI’, in which she was seen opposite Dilip Chakraborty. She appeared in the TV series ‘Ghor Kutum’ in 2oo8 opposite Chanchal Choudhary. This series was broadcast on the channel i Classic.
In 2011, he starred in the TV series ‘Chowmohol’, which aired on Banglavision. He played a negative role in the television drama series ‘Shonghat’ (2018) broadcast on Boishakhi TV.

Death
Humaira Himu committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan on 2 November 2023. According to some reports, she committed suicide after an argument with her boyfriend. He was buried next to his mother’s grave at Lamchari Jame Masjid, Lakshmipur on 3 November 2023.

Following the investigation, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested his friend Mohammad Ziauddin Rufi alias Urfi Zia on charges related to his death. Reportedly, Himu was in a romantic relationship with Urfi Jiah for a long time. She was already married to someone else but still had an extramarital affair with Himu. After his arrest, Ziauddin confessed that he had an argument with Himu before his death. He said that Himu often threatened to commit suicide and he had even threatened her a day before committing suicide. He said they tried to lower him with a rope but failed to save him. He immediately took him to Uttara Modern Medical College Hospital in Dhaka. However, he left the hospital before the police arrived. He also told that Himu was addicted to gambling for the last two-three years and had wasted huge amount of money on an online gambling app named Bigo Live.
