Afflicted Bone is a new master crafting material Monster Hunter Rises In its latest DLC, dawn. The new DLC adds a main tier system to encourage players to keep exploring, doing unusual quests, and hunting for rare items that can be used for new armor in the game. The affected bone is one of these rare drops, but with Monster Hunter RisesIt cannot be found in the pile of bones.
To find the alien bones, the player needs to unlock the main level first. This is a newly added function Monster Hunter Rises: Sunbreak DLC, so it can only be unlocked after the player has downloaded and started dawn Content. After the player reaches El Gadot Outpost, talk to Knight Fiorane of the Royal Order. Fiorayne assigns quests, and the player can go through main quests through her to find items like Affected Bones.
Bones are affected only from Monsters affected in Monster Hunter Rises: Sunbreak. Players looking for Affected Bones will need to switch to the Master Abnormal Quest, where they must hunt down and defeat the Affected Monster Monster Hunter Rises. From there, the player has a chance to drop the Affected Bone.
How to get tormented bones in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
There are only three monsters in it Monster Hunter Rises: Sunbreak Drops Affected Bones from Abnormal Quests:
- Arzuros – Large tusks found in temple ruins, wetlands, and castles. Arzuros does not have specific magical attacks but instead attacks the player with its thick claws. Arzuros is not afraid of fire, ice, and thunder, but is resistant to attacks by dragons and water.
- Lagombi – A large tusk beast found in the Frost Isles and castles. Lagombi can attack the player with ice and cause Iceblight, such as Monster Hunter Rises Lunagaron, so the player should bring Nulberry into battle.
- Volvidon – A large tusks found in sand plains, lava caves, and castles. Volvidon can paralyze the player, but is weak against water and ice. Volvidon is immune to fire and dragon attacks, so players should avoid using them.
Only these three Ivory can drop Sick Bones, and there is only a 20% chance of dropping Sick Bones from Master Anomaly quests involving one of these three monsters. Monster Hunter Rises: Sunbreak. Players will need to make sure they are completing Master level quests and may need to keep doing some quests to loot enough Affected Bones for crafting Monster Hunter Rises.
Affected bones can be used to craft a variety of weapons including, but not limited to: Great Sword Chrome Heaven, Great Sword Lagombi Decisioner, Lightning Transforming Ax, and Wyvern Gnasher Greatsword. In addition, players can use Afflicted Bone to craft decorations such as Hard Bolt Jewels, Hard Dragon Jewels and Power Bow Jewels.
