Original sin divinity 2 There are many side quests that can change the course of the game. Some have a lasting effect on recruiting members, while others provide powerful equipment. Some missions offer little new lore and instead introduce useful mechanics.
Each party member has their own unique line of quests that run throughout the game. Many times the Awakened Ones are ideologically opposed, leading to results that please one member but upset another. The best results for the Red Prince are detailed below, even if it upsets the other characters.
Team composition in Divinity: Original Sin 2
The Red Prince’s goal is to support the ancient empire of Lizards, and does not rule out collaborating with the devil. This often leads to direct conflict with Sebir, making some of their mission objectives mutually exclusive. Other options ideal for the Red Prince often baffle Finn and Ivan, albeit in indirect ways. As the protagonist, the Red Prince can make conflicting choices that can really hurt his loved ones and the longevity of the empire. If recruited as a companion to Fort Joy, the player should respond positively to the Lizard and use morally gray methods to gain power. In multiplayer mode, any character created during character creation will have the main portrait state and this state cannot be restored or deleted after joining the campaign.
As for the ability of citizens, whoever is the main character must have a certain conviction, because they will take the initiative to speak on behalf of the prince. Lack of this stat can lead to unnecessary battles. As a political fugitive, several assassins will hunt down the Red Prince. It’s best to have at least one character who is good at stealth and can be invisible, like Cloak and Dagger. There are also some Red Prince specific battles that are much easier with specialized archers and/or summoners, especially if they know Sky Shot or FarSight Infusion. There are also members who can expose invisible targets to rain, ignition, or pollution.
The Red Prince’s quest line in Divinity: Original Sin 2
If not the main character, the Red Prince can be found on the beach where the player wakes up. By default, the Red Prince starts off as a tank fighter, but he’s willing to switch that role at the player’s request.
Chapter 1: Fortress of Joy
Go to Fort Joy Slums and meet Griff, who is clashing with Dreamer Tang. Follow Stingtail to his camp and make sure to move Sebille out of the way (if she’s in the party) and let the Red Prince share the dream with Stingtail by taking his drudanae (actually Griff’s) ta. Note that if Sebill is allowed to interact with Thorntail, she will kill her, which will infuriate the Red Prince. Alternatively, one can steal Drew Denny and attempt to return it to Griff. The player can either steal Thornytail and fight Griff, or betray him, which will cause the character to silence the lizard in an ambush. People can choose to wait near the thorn and stop being silent.
Narin the Assassin in the western part of the Ghetto near the carcass of the beast. He only attacks when the Red Prince is near, so one can delay the attack by separating him from the party and attacking Narin on his own. After exiting Fort Joy Prison, go to Adventure Camp and talk to Bahara the Lizard Guard. She will give the Red Prince more details about the Red Princess. Also, if the Red Prince is a companion, be sure to talk to him. At this point, he will provide more details about his past. Finally, make sure the Red Prince is active during the “Lady O War” mission or he will die at the end of the mission.
Chapter 2: Dead Sea
The Red Prince has several targets at Driftwood Tavern. Ask him to talk to Loveric and ask for a female lizard to mate. While the other characters are ambushed in this decoy, the Red Prince has a legitimate encounter with the Red Princess Sada. On the second floor, enter the suite and find Balan the Lone Wolf. If Ivan is on the team, just chat to know that the Lonely Wolves are based at the Sawmill. But if Ivan dies in Lady O War, someone must steal or fight for Balan’s Lone Wolf badge.
Go to the basement of the tavern and talk to Ghangha about Bhrahmos who was hiding with the knights. Go to Paladin Bridgehead and talk to Tom Hadwin to learn that Brahmos has left. Overcoming the main story goal is to meet the Sourcerors until you gain the ability to see spirits. Now enter the rock garden, wander to the fire trap containing the triple-tied chest, use vision and talk to the late Brahmos.
When using the north exit, there will be a group of assassins and snipers a little east, and they will attack as soon as the red prince approaches. Other party members can move into position first, climb vines onto ledges, and set terrain traps. These enemies will run away when health is low, leaving no rewards.
Head north to the front door of the sawmill. Ivan has enough influence to get inside, or perhaps toss the badge Balaam stole. Otherwise, the guards may be fooled by persuasion. Note that failed diplomacy will cause all lone wolves to immediately become hostile and attack. Either way, look for Sada’s caravan from the sawmill’s east exit. The red prince will have a chance to mate with her, or will pass up the chance. Regardless, her entourage will betray the royal family and attack the group. Note that rejecting Sada will greatly reduce the Red Prince’s attitude, possibly enough to make him abandon the team.
Chapter 3: Nameless Island
Nameless Island is caught up in a fierce war. The Black Ring and the Magisters are fighting each other, while the House of Shadows and the Elves have their own conspiracies. To make the journey easier, convince the Black Ring that you’re on their side or a hired lone wolf.
For the Red Prince, venture across the realm of the Black Ring to Alter, south of Zor Stissa. The Shadow Prince waited, and the outcome depended on whether Sebil was nearby. If the Red Prince is the protagonist and Sebil is a companion, the player can choose to enslave her back to the Dark Prince. If Sebil is the main embodiment, she will attack the Dark Prince and override the Red Prince’s quest line. If Sebile is absent (either freed or dead), the Dark Prince will inform the team that Sada is an agent of God-King and ask you to kill her. The player can choose to accept, refuse, or attack the Dark Prince. If he’s still alive, he’ll also ask you to deal with other factions on the island, including the Mother Tree and Sallow Man side quests.
The Red Princes had some small side jobs with the blond man himself. To enter his lair, one must go to the Goblin Temple, kill Bishop Alexander and take his head, or let him fight the Yellow Man and get a special hood. Either way, the team should carefully explore the Black Ring camp. If Loshe gets close to Sallow Man, the demon Adramahlihk will possess her and start fighting. If Finn (or a custom zombie character) talks to Sallow, they will have the option to defect from the team and become permanently independent and hostile. As for the Red Prince, he just needs to get as close to the blackest glass mirror as possible to learn more about Sada.
Chapter 4: Ax
While not required, they will have an extra option if the Red Prince explores Lynd Keim’s Vault and steals his Oath Breaker. This item can break contracts with the God-King and can be given to several of his servants, including Finn, Wendigo, Almira, and most importantly, Sada.
For the Red Prince’s real mission, head to the Lizard Consulate in the northwest. The area is covered with poisonous flames and enemies respawn. To make it easier, one should use stealth, speed and lock to avoid combat, then activate the teleport pyramid. The gate to the abandoned arena. To make this encounter go faster, destroy all mirrors with ranged attacks, otherwise enemies will respawn indefinitely. Visions of Malady, Alexander, Wendigo and the Red Prince will attack the team. This Red Prince is an exact clone, meaning he can weaken the real Red Prince by giving him bad equipment and skills. Use powerful source attacks like Arrow Storm and Fire Pop.
Go further into the consulate and talk to Sada. One can choose to entrust the Oath Breaker to her to relieve her of her obligations. The Red Prince can fully mature and give birth to young, actually killing Sada or both. If the Dark Prince survives, he will appear and react according to the agreement. If you agree and kill Sada, he will reward you, but if you break your promise, he will attack, causing an encounter similar to the Nameless Isle.
