This fall, Holiday Wars returns with a new season. Teams will compete to design gorgeous, unique cakes themed around some of the world’s most famous festivals. Jeff Mauro hosts the show, while Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira serve as judges alongside him. According to the press release for the show:
“Host Jeff Mauro, along with judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira, challenges these skilled bakers to create gorgeous Christmas cakes inspired by funny holiday stories. . In the end, only one team won the Holiday Wars championship and the grand prize: an all-inclusive trip to Iceland to witness the Northern Lights—and maybe catch a glimpse of Santa.”
The show will begin with two episodes on the Food Network on November 6 at 9:00 PM ET.

Holiday Wars host Jeff Mauro has a net worth of $2.3 million, largely thanks to his restaurants and television appearances. Mauro was born in Chicago in 1978 and graduated from Bradley University in Illinois in 2000 with a degree in television and work. Although he recognized his talent for performing on stage at an early age and was passionate about performing arts, he never looked back after discovering food.
He fell in love with the art of making sandwiches, salads, soups and sauces after co-founding Prime Time Deli & Catering and honing his culinary skills.
