The Met Gala is one of the most popular tickets of the year, but it comes at a steep price.
On Monday (May 1), some of Hollywood’s biggest stars will attend the biggest night of the year for fashion. According to a new report, they are paying a premium to secure their tickets after the price was raised for 2023.

page six reported that the price to secure a single ticket to the event has risen to $50,000 this year. Previously it cost $30,000 per person.
A source told the outlet that some of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s donors would not attend due to the price increase.
“These people are already donating so much, to later ask for that amount is a lot,” they said. However, that doesn’t mean this year’s event will be any less crowded.
“For every person who decides not to go, 20 people line up behind and beg to come,” said another source.
The theme of the Met Gala 2023 is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. Already 10 stars have confirmed that they will attend the event this year.
