Fans are surprised by how gracefully Cher has aged, but you won’t believe the age difference between her and her current partner!
As stunning images of Cher at age 77 continue to circulate, it’s clear that the pop-rock icon has achieved time went back!
In an exclusive interview with Extra, Cher was asked to share her secret to living and maintaining a young life at her age. Additionally, and most notably, Cher was asked about her sweet romance with music producer Alexander “AE” Edwards, 37.
“I hate to talk about how happy I am, but no, we had a great time together. We can talk about music. We can talk about everything. “He has a great sense of humor, he has the cutest son in the world… We just understand each other,” Cher said with a smile.

Cher also mentioned that Edwards is “more obviously shy” than her. “Welcome To Burlesque” even called him “reserved.”
During the interview, Cher admitted that the age difference between them comes up frequently.
“Sometimes I talk to him and he has no idea who I’m talking about… The other day I said to him, ‘Do you know who? I don’t know, Clark Gable. [is]?’ Someone said, ‘Yes, of course,’ but most of my references… He looks at me and says, ‘I’m not born yet,'” Cher explained.
However, Cher was quick to share that Edwards does know who Tina Turner is.
When asked to explain more about her “special relationship” with Turner, Cher said: “We were both younger when we got married and our husbands were practically the bosses…”
She continued: “The first time she did my show, she was with Ike and it was a completely different Tina…Sonny wasn’t the same, but he was very much the boss…And she wanted to know how I left and I said, ‘I just I was'”.

Cher has always been a strong woman and has no qualms about speaking her mind, whether it’s about politics or, in recent history, other people like Madonna.
An old interview from the ’90s showed Cher criticizing Madonna for being rude to her; Cher has since stated that her “her problem” with Madonna was and remains a thing of the past.
Right now, Cher is promoting her new Christmas album called “Christmas.” This comes after years of rejecting the idea of a Christmas album.
“This must be the right moment, because they have always asked me for it and since the time of Sonny and Cher,” commented the musician.
After some convincing, Edwards also worked on the album with her. Cher shared: “It’s a very strange Christmas album. All the tracks are her own little islands. Nothing seems to go right, but when you listen to it, it works.”
The album was released on October 20.
