In the trailer, Otto Hightower and Allison Hightower reflect on their mistakes and ponder what Westeros will look like after the war is over. Meanwhile, Queen Rhaenyra, filled with rage, prepares to ascend the Iron Throne. Rhaenys Targaryen’s opposition to the power of war cited the wrath of the gods and the wrath of the dragons, but the shot of Rhaenyra and Aemond on the back of a dragon suggests that war is still coming.
“House of the Dragon” Season 2 Trailer Revealed
After the death of Lucerys Dragon House Season 1 ended with Rhaenyra filled with vengeful rage. With King Aegon on the throne and Daemon seeking the support of new dragons, Aemond now understands that dragons cannot truly be tamed. The Season 1 finale promised fire and blood, and the Season 2 trailer proves it will deliver on its promise.

One constant element in the trailer is the discussion of fire and death. Rhaenys warned the gods that they disapproved of kin joining the war, but her warnings fell on deaf ears.
