Screen Rant: Long live the king! I love King Bowery! There’s a majesty about him when he’s hidden in plain sight. How has your attitude towards the character changed since he was first introduced?
Laurence Fishburne: I didn’t know he’d changed that much. Good thing for me is being able to clear the table for this movie. With that talk going on, get you ready for the journey in the first place.
Unbelievable. Now, the world is built on John wick Great. They make each location and environment feel like a character. Can you talk to me about exploring the world John wickWant to see a Bowery King spin-off?
Laurence Fishburne: A Bowery King spinoff is an interesting idea. What would that be? Where do you start? I heard there is a European style [spin-off], which is another very interesting idea. But yeah, man, I’m ready.
You are now a regular customer of Keanu Reeves matrix. Can you talk to me about how you have watched him grow and develop between then and now?
Laurence Fishburne: Well, the stamina and discipline he’s had to do for Buck over the past decade has been unbelievable. Really, really great. And his judo competition in this movie. His gunfight in the second movie, and now in judo, is unbelievable.
These movies are just that. I honestly think John wick The franchise is one of the only franchises that gets better with each installment. Unbelievable.
Laurence Fishburne: That’s the point. This is a real achievement for Chad, Keanu and the whole team.
Speaking of Chad, he was in all four of those movies. Can you talk about working with him on these films?
Laurence Fishburne: He’s a film student. He is a student of action movies. He is a student of International Cinema. He is a great martial artist. He has incredible discipline and vision, and he puts it all together. Obviously, his work with Keanu makes us really enjoy our time together.
at the end of john wick 3King Bowery decided to save John Wick. How has this changed your relationship with John Wick? forth?
Laurence Fishburne: Well, I think that’s pretty much the nature of the relationship between John Wick and King Bowery. Remember when Bowery King first showed up, when everything looked like he was going to the bathroom, he was the one Buck went to, and then the toilet suddenly opened. Now you’re in the sewer with the king rat, which is awesome.
