Deadline reports that the film received the rating for “some sexuality, nudity and language.”

Nolan recently spoke with the Associated Press on why fans should see the film on the big screen.

“Rarely do you get a chance to talk directly to moviegoers about why you love a particular format and why if they can find an IMAX screen to see the movie, that’s great,” Nolan said. “We put a lot of effort into shooting the film so that we could project it on these large format screens. “It really is a great way to give people an experience they wouldn’t be able to have at home.”

“We knew this had to be spectacular,” he added. “We can now do things with image that we could only do with sound before in terms of enormous impact for the audience: an almost physical sensation of response to the film.”
