It has been several months since we last heard of the Jon Snow split of game of Thrones.
Kit Harington is expected to reprise his fan-favorite role from the HBO series for the new spin-off, which was first revealed in June 2022.
Her co-star Emilia Clarke later confirmed that it was in the works and shared whether she would be willing to reprise her role as Daenerys Targaryen.
Now, HBO CEO Casey Bloys has shared a new update on Kit’s game of Thrones derived series.

According television line, Casey shared that the series is nowhere near getting the official green light from HBO. Furthermore, none of the proposals game of Thrones Spin-offs keep the official moving forward…
“We always have game of Thrones scripts in development. We gave the green light Mate and egg in the spring,” he said, referring to A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knightbased on the Dunk and Egg books by George RR Martin.
While there’s nothing on the horizon right now, Casey isn’t ruling it out in the future.
“I wouldn’t say there’s anything else in that world that’s close to being greenlit or anything like that,” the executive said, adding, “but we’re always working on different scripts and ideas.”
