He is known for appearing in films and series such as Chatakkari (2012), Om Shanti Oshana (2012), Monyi Angane Aanayi (2014), Aadu Series (2015/2017), and Anjaam Pathira (2020). In 2023, he appeared in the Malayalam film “2018”, which was nominated for the 96th Academy Awards.

In 2018, he played the role of a character named Nandan in the serial Ilayaval Gayatri. He was seen as a mentor in the reality show Dance Kerala Dance, which aired on Zee Keralam in 2019.

She played the role of Lolan in the 2015 film Aadu – Oru Bheegara Jeevi Aanu. In the same year, Harikrishnan shared the screen with Jackie Shroff in the film ATM. In an interview he talked about working with Jackie and said,
Jackie Shroff is someone I have grown up watching on screen as a child. So when I came to know that I would be working with him, I was excited. I mean, here was a very seasoned and experienced Bollywood actor who I admired, and I was getting a chance to share screen space with him! I was very stressed in the beginning, but he was very friendly on the set and made me feel at ease immediately. It was a pleasure to watch him work and his demeanor was more like that of a long-lost friend than a Bollywood celebrity. It was a great opportunity.”

He appeared in Georgetown’s Pooram and Aadu 2; Films released in 2017. He played the role of an inspector named Arun Mathew in the 2020 film Anjaam Pathira.

In 2021, he played the roles of Bell Man in The Last Two Days and Arjun in Sara’s. The films were released on CinaPlay and Amazon Prime respectively.
Apart from acting in films, he has appeared in several music videos such as Doorey, Madhura Kinavin and Ente Jeevante Pathi. He got the role of a character named Mathew in the 2022 film Jana Gana Mana. The same year, he appeared as himself in the film Anandam Paramanandam. In 2023, he appeared as Alex in the film “2018” (also known as 2018: Everyone is a Hero). The film became India’s official entry for the Oscars in 2024, following its nomination in 2023.
