Halle Berry Reveals Drake Asked Permission to Use Slime Photo and She Said ‘NO’

Halle Berry further explains why she’s upset about Drake using her likeness for his one-of-a-kind artwork.

The rapper released his new song “Slime You Out” featuring SZA just a few days ago and the song’s artwork features a photo of Halle covered in slime while attending the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2012.

Halle posted a quote on her Instagram page over the weekend that read, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… even if you’re a woman!” In the comments she responded to a follower who asked her what she thought about the cover of Drake’s single.

In her original comments, Halle confirmed that she did not give permission and has now answered another question to reveal more.

Another follower said: “While I understand your side, that photo is property of Getty Images. So I’m sure you got permission from him. And he paid the fee. Why are you angry?”

Halle responded: “Because he asked me and I said NO, that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want? That’s what screwed me up. Not well. Do you understand? ❤️”

In other news, Halle recently opened up about her sexuality while going through menopause.
