Hadi Chupan is an Iranian bodybuilder who has won several bodybuilding competitions. As his body size increased, he competed in different weight classes and became the first Iranian bodybuilder to win the Mr. Olympia in 2022.

Hadi Chupan was born on Saturday, 26 September 1987 (age 35 years; as of 2022) in Sepidan County, Fars Province, Iran. His zodiac sign is Libra. He was thin in childhood and started exercising at the age of 13 to gain weight. After completing his high school education, he worked in the construction industry until the age of 24.

livelihood
At the age of 13, Hadi started working out at a local gym and competed in her first tournament at the age of 17. In 2002, he began training under Jamshed Ovji and won several local bodybuilding competitions. In 2005 he won his first national bodybuilding championship. In 2008, he stopped training under coach Jamshed Ovji and trained without a coach until 2013, when he began training under Ali Nemati. She won several international competitions under the guidance of Ali Nemati, including a hat-trick of gold medals at the WBPF World Bodybuilding Championships and a gold medal at the WBPF Asia Championships from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, he won his pro card at the bodybuilding championship held in Russia. In 2017, he stopped training under Ali Nemati and started training under renowned coach Honey Rambod. Under Haney’s tutelage, he won a gold medal at the 2017 Mr. Olympia Amateur and a silver medal at the 2017 Asia Grand Prix. In 2019, he competed in the Mr. Olympia for the first time and placed third. He won the gold medal at Mr. Olympia 2022.

Issuance of visas in the United States
In 2018, then-US President Donald Trump banned all Iranian citizens from entering the United States, and Hadi was denied a visa to participate in the 2018 Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia. They issued a statement expressing their frustration and described the incident as discriminatory. In 2019, the same situation happened again, and after the intervention of American Media Inc., the presenter of the Mister Olympia competition, and with public support on his side, Hadi received his visa in time for the 2019 Mister Olympia.
