Gypsy Rose Blanchard is looking forward to her new life following her release from prison on December 28 and thanks all her fans for helping her get through more than eight years behind bars.
The convict-turned-celebrity posted a short video for her followers today. In it, she saluted all those who supported her while she served her sentence for second-degree murder and detailed her immediate personal plans.
“Hello everyone, I’m Gypsy. I’m finally free! began in a video shared by Pop Crave. “I just want to send a quick video to thank everyone for the tremendous amount of support I’ve received on social media.”
“Everyone has been very, very kind and supportive,” he continued. “I really appreciate that. It’s nice to be home. I’m back in Louisiana enjoying a beautiful day outside and a lot of great things will happen very soon.”
Gypsy Rose Blanchard to release new e-book
Blanchard went on to share that a documentary series titled The personal confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard It will be released soon. The first hour of the six-part special begins on Lifetime on January 5. In it, she shares her experiences as a Munchausen by proxy victim and details the subsequent murder of her mother.
The 32-year-old also revealed that she is the author of an e-book titled Published: Freedom’s Eve Conversationswhich will officially launch on January 9, but is now available for pre-order.
“It’s not a repeat of everything that happened,” he said of the project. “It’s more of a reflection on everything I’ve learned and experienced in the last eight and a half years.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was sentenced to 10 years in prison after helping convince her ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejoh, to kill her mother, Dee Dee. Godejoh is currently serving a life sentence.
Blanchard has gained a large following due to the circumstances of his crime. Many people believe that she should have been acquitted of all charges due to the abuse that she suffered during her formative years.
A parole board granted Blanchard early release after serving the state minimum of 85% of his sentence.
