Gypsy Rose Blanchard splits from husband Ryan Anderson 3 months after release from prison

Gypsy Rose Blanchard became an internet sensation when she was released from prison late last year. Many of her fans loved the love she shared with her husband, Ryan Anderson, after her release from prison. However, the couple is now separating just three months later.

After serving more than eight years of her ten-year sentence for plotting the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, Gypsy Rose was released from the Chillicothe Correctional Facility in Missouri.

While still in prison, Gypsy Rose met and married her husband, Ryan, in 2022. She planned to remarry once she was released. However, in a statement from her on her private Facebook page, her Gypsy Rose shared the news about her separation:

“People have been asking me what’s going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved to my parents’ house in the bayou.”

“I have the support of my family and friends to help me get through this. I’m learning to listen to my heart. “Now I need time to allow myself to find… who I am.”

Gypsy Rose served eight years in prison for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee. She and her then-boyfriend, Nick Godejohn, planned the murder, with Nick ultimately killing her.

Gypsy Rose showed remorse for her part in the murder. However, she felt that she was the only way to escape her mother’s manipulation.

Ryan was known to be extremely supportive of Gypsy Rose during her sentencing and certainly afterward. All the exposure and attention she received from her after her release led her to delete her social media accounts “on the advice of her parole officer, so as not to get in trouble and go back to jail.” .

Now, Gypsy Rose plans to find out who she is on her own.

On X (formerly Twitter), many people shared their reactions to this news. One person tweeted, “What a surprise! 🙄 It’s almost as if a relationship that begins in prison is not the most stable foundation for a healthy and lasting marriage.”

Another simply said“I hope he finds peace.”
