Months after it was confirmed that Channing Tatum proposed to Zoë Kravitz, Lenny Kravitz is revealing more details about the relationship he has with his future son-in-law.
During his appearance in sheri On Thursday, March 21, the music icon declared that Tatum is a great guy. He also gets along very well with his future son-in-law.
“We hung out and talked,” Lenny Kravitz said of Channing Tatum. Kravitz also noted that Tatum is a very emotional human being. “They raised him well. He has manners and class.”
Kravitz also revealed how his daughter introduced him to Tatum. He said that the relationship between Zoë and Tatum is very natural.
“Like I said, it’s very sweet and it works,” Lenny Kravitz noted. As for whether he plans to give a speech as father of the bride at the wedding, the rocker added, “Of course, that’s my daughter.”
The discussion comes less than a week after Zoë praised her father at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing you for a long time,” he said. “And I must say that being your daughter has been one of the great adventures of my life.”

During an interview with PEOPLE Earlier this year, Lenny Kravitz opened up about the relationship between his daughter Zoë and Channing Tatum.
“It feels good,” Kravitz said of the couple. “I like [Channing] a lot. [They] have something that is naturally special. They do the work too. They are dedicated. That’s all it is. “It’s beautiful to see.”
Kravitz also compared his daughter and Tatum’s relationship to that of his grandparents. “I remember hearing something from my grandmother when she was very little.”
“She said, ‘It’s not just that I’m in love with your grandfather, I’m dedicated to your grandfather,’” he explained. “Because sometimes you don’t feel that love, right? Then what do you do? ?”
Lenny Kravitz also said that when it comes to relationships there has to be something beyond love, which is dedication. “So that’s something I see them having. It is wonderful to welcome him to the family.”
When it comes to love in general, Kravitz declares himself a romantic. “I’ve always been a romantic and you can still be a romantic even if you’re not with someone,” he added. “This is how you live your life. I am in love every day. When I wake up, I open my eyes and I can function… love is around me at all times.”
