Gwen Stefani had an emotional response to Blake Shelton’s account of their first meeting.
If you didn’t know, the 54-year-old hitmaker and trainer The voice received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this week. She attended the ceremony with her country music star husband and her sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo, whom she shares with her ex Gavin Rossdale.
While giving a speech at the ceremony, Blake moved his wife to tears with the sweet memory.

Blake and Gwen met on the set of The voice in 2014, and was instantly impressed by his co-star.
“She wasn’t like any other famous person I’d ever met before. She drove herself to work in a black minivan with car seats,” she recalled via Today. “She didn’t arrive safely. She came in with a baby and two small children, which at that time worked as security because no one came near; “It was chaos.”
He continued to praise her as a mother: “It was clear to me that she was, first and foremost, a mother above anything else in the world; That was her number one job.”
“And now, here, almost 10 years after I met her, I can say without a doubt that being a mother is still the most important thing in her life. And I have to tell everyone that that is rare in this business,” she added.
Gwen also recently shared another story about one of their first meetings. She also revealed the diagnosis that became a “superpower” for her career.
