In 2017, Gulveer Singh was selected as a raider in Lucknow-based Kabaddi team ‘UP Yoddha’ for Season 5 of Pro Kabaddi League. He played a total of 4 matches in the season in which he scored 3 points with a 38% raid strike rate. In 2019, Gulveer became part of the Uttar Pradesh team to play in the 66th Senior National Kabaddi Championship which was held in Roha, Raigarh, Maharashtra.
