IPL 2023 Qualifier 2: The Indian Premier League play-offs are over and the Chennai Super Kings have once again secured a place in the final round. CSK made it through to the IPL finals for a record 10th time after defeating the IPL highest ranked Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1. However, the Gujarat Titans will have another chance to advance to the finals and find a way. revenge on May 26 in Qualifier 2 against Mumbai Indians.
The third play-off and final, Qualifier 2, will take place between defending champions Gujarat Titans and five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians on May 24, with the winner taking on Chennai Super Kings on May 28 in the final of IPL 2023. There is tremendous pressure on MI and GT. MI played with low spirits and made it through the qualifiers against some tough teams like RCB, RR, KKR and PBKS.
GT, on the other hand, tops the table in the tournament stage and looks invincible in the knockout stages. But you can never underestimate the deception of CSK under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Let’s hope that whichever team makes it to the finals, GT or MI, will give fans an exciting match.
