Hallmark Channel has a new track on Rushi Kota!
The 36-year-old actor, best known for I have never and Grey’s Anatomywill star alongside Eva Bourne in make me a match.
Just Jared was lucky enough to chat with Rushi about his network debut, where he talked about how nervous he really was.

“I had an immense amount of anxiety,” Rushi admitted of joining the network for his first film there.
He explained to Just Jared that it was about three weeks before he got to the set that he was “in a panic.”
“I was going through a lot of personal things,” he noted (he had actually just welcomed his first baby!), before adding that “I wanted to be as memorized and prepared as possible for my character. I only remember the week before I got on set, and I talked to my acting coach, where I told them that I had no idea what I was doing right now. I don’t know who this guy is. I’m full of freaking out.”
Rushi says that he was “so stressed with everything else, and I just couldn’t see it.”
However, as soon as he got to the set and met Eva, the panic left him.
“I once left my life behind for a second and finally landed in Vancouver and reunited with Eva and Heather. [our director]…things started clicking and I was like, ‘Woo, okay, we’ve got this now.’ Everything else was, you know, smooth sailing from here on out.”
Rushi said that she “really enjoyed this experience, as my first lead in a Hallmark film, and that Hallmark is creating this beautiful bubble of creative, hard-working people who come to set every day with a very positive attitude.”
“I think about my experience and our collective experience over those three weeks, and it’s like my heart warms every time I think about it.”
