Gongadi Trisha is an Indian cricketer who plays for the under-19 Indian women’s cricket team primarily as a batsman. A right-handed batsman and right-arm leg-break bowler, Trisha was part of the Indian team that won the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup in 2023.

Trisha Reddy, also known as Gongadi V Trisha, was born on Thursday, 15 December 2005 (age 17 years; as of 2022) in Badrachalam, Telangana. Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. When Trisha was born, her father, who was once a hockey player, told her mother that as she grew a little older, Trisha would be shown cricket matches on television instead of cartoons. He got into the habit of playing cricket since the age of two and a half, when his father started training him with a plastic ball and bat. When Trisha turned 5, her father started taking her to the gym, where he made her throw more than 300 throwdowns. After some time, Trisha’s father got a cement pitch installed at a local ground in Badrachalam, where Trisha practiced for long hours under the guidance of her father. Since there was no cricket academy in her hometown, her father decided to relocate from Bhadrachalam to Secunderabad to provide Trisha with adequate facilities for her training and development; Trisha’s father quit his job and sold his gym to a relative at less than half the price to relocate to Secunderabad. Once, when Trisha was practicing batting in the nets in Secunderabad, her father recorded a video of her and showed it to coach John Manoj and Srinivas of St. John’s Cricket Academy in Hyderabad. Impressed by her performance, coach John Manoj asked Trisha to join St. John’s Cricket Academy, where she trained under coach Srinivasan. To support his training, his father sold four acres of his agricultural land in Badrachalam, Telangana. Later, he was mentored by former Indian coach R. Trained in Sridhar’s academy. As of 2023, she is studying in 12th class.

Gongadi Trisha’s father, GV Ramireddy, is a former hockey player who played for the state during his youth days. Ramireddy also worked as an ITC gym trainer. Gongadi Trisha became a part of Hyderabad U16 women’s team at the age of eight and became the youngest player of the team. Trisha was the leading run-scorer in the South Zone for two years at U16 level. When she turned 12, Trisha started playing for Hyderabad U19 (as a batsman) and Hyderabad U23 (as a bowler). His first U19 match was against Tamil Nadu in which he scored 38 runs and took four wickets.
