Fortnite Reportedly Adding Teen Titans’ Starfire Soon

Rumors are flying that Fortnite may be adding another Teen Titans character, Starfire, to its roster early next month. Starfire would join characters Raven and Beast Boy in Fortnite, further adding to the list of DC characters within the game. The fan-favorite character has been a highly requested addition to the game since the DC collaboration was announced, and it seems players may finally get to play as the beloved alien princess.

The collaboration between Epic and DC first began in 2021, and since then many famous characters have made their way into the title. From villains like Joker and Poison Ivy to heroes like The Flash and Wonder Woman, the partnership has led to an extensive amount of new characters coming to Fortnite. Although much of the game’s popularity has come from its unique mechanics and crossplay capabilities, Fortnite‘s inclusion of celebrities and fictional character skins has served the game well when it comes to keeping players coming back.

A recent article from Xputer (via Tom Henderson on Twitter) has brought to light rumors of Starfire coming to Fortnite in the near future. The article predicts that the Teen Titans character is set to arrive on September 2, although not much information is known outside of that. While Xputer doesn’t elaborate on where the rumors have been sourced from, if they’re valid, then it’s suspected that data miners will find more information on Starfire as September grows closer.

What Starfire’s Addition Could Mean For Fortnite’s Future

Starfire has long been one of the most requested characters to come to Fortnite, particularly when it comes to Teen Titans characters in particular. As each Fortnite season brings new crossovers, each one also brings inevitable fan disappointment over those characters who haven’t been included. Fortnite hasn’t seen the addition of a Teen Titans character since Beast Boy made an appearance over a year ago, so Starfire finally making her way to the battle royale is bound to please many fans. Fortnite making a return to drawing from the Teen Titans universe may also point to a renewed focus on the expansive DC universe as a whole, instead of the fairly Gotham-centric route seen more recently from the collaboration.

Strangely, so far Robin from Teen Titans hasn’t made an appearance in Fortnite, despite arguably being the most famous member. Although every player has their own opinion about which DC character Fortnite must add next, it’s odd that Raven, Beast Boy, and now potentially Starfire will be in the game’s universe before Robin. However, if the Starfire rumors hold true and the Fortnite universe gains another Teen Titan hero in the near future, it’s possible that Robin may not be far behind. However, Fortnite fans will likely need to wait until September to learn if Starfire really will be making an appearance in-game.
