Former UFC champion involved in terrifying house fire
It’s been a tough couple of months for the UFC family. In March, former UFC champion Mark Coleman had to rescue his parents from a house fire. He suffered several injuries and had to be airlifted to a local hospital.
Fortunately, Coleman is now awake and responsive. In a recent video he couldn’t stop talking about how lucky he was.
“I swear to God, I’m so lucky,” Coleman said in the video. “I can’t believe my parents are alive. He had to make a decision. I left my room and went to the door and it was already horrible. I couldn’t breathe, I almost had to leave, but I went back and grabbed them. I can not believe it”.
Coleman was able to save his parents and get out of the house safely. But he couldn’t save his dog Hammer, who tragically died in the fire.
