Faraz Khan’s father, Yusuf Khan (born as Yusuf Abushar), was a Bollywood actor, best known for playing the role of Zbyszko in the film Amar Akbar Anthony. His brother’s name is Fahadh Abushar and sister’s name is Fadya Abushar.

In 1996, Faraz Khan made his Bollywood debut with the film Fareb, in which he played the role of Dr. Rohan Verma.
In 1997, he appeared in the role of Vinod Kumar in the film Prithvi. In 1998, he starred as Niranjan Choudhary in the film Mehndi, in which he shared the screen with Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee.
Subsequently, in 1998, he appeared in the Hindi film “Love Story 98”. In 1999, he got another leading role as Deepak Rai in the film Dulhan Banoon Main Teri.
Later, he appeared in the films Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya (2001), and Bazaar: Market of Love, Lust and Desire. His last film was Chand Bujh Gaya (2005) in which he played the role of Adarsh.

In 1997, Faraz Khan made his television debut with the show One Plus One. From 2002 to 2003 he played the role of Ajay in the show Achanak 37 Saath Baatri.
Subsequently, in 2004, she played the role of Singaar in a few episodes of Ssshh…Koi Hai. Later, he appeared in various television series such as Raat Hone Ko Hai (2004), Suno… Har Dil Kuch Kehta Hai (2006), Neeli Aankhen (2008), etc.
Death
Since 2019, Faraz Khan was suffering from an acute chest infection. On 8 October 2020, after a video consultation with his doctor, he was admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru due to increased cough. While the ambulance was on its way, Faraz suddenly started shaking uncontrollably and had a seizure. After being admitted to the emergency ward, his brother learned that Faraz had suffered three consecutive seizures as the herpes infection from his chest had spread to his brain. After this, Faraz’s family started raising funds for Faraz’s treatment. In his plea for financial assistance, Fahadh Abushar wrote that his brother, Faraz Khan, has been diagnosed with a brain infection and he needs Rs. Rs 25 lakh for treatment. Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan and Pooja Bhatt provided financial support to the actor’s family. Faraz Khan died at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru after a prolonged illness on Wednesday, 4 November 2020.
